What you should bring
You have completed your education or have a good degree, ideally with professional experience in finance, insurance, IT or actuarial science. You also have very good German and English skills and are a team player with analytical thinking skills.

Getting started in the ERGO trainee programme: RISE

Are you looking for a varied start to your career and want to get to know different teams? Then you've come to the right place! As a trainee at ERGO, you will discover different areas and play an active role in shaping innovation and digitalisation – your chance to take on a management position!

What you can expect
The programme lasts 24 months and comprises 15 participants per year, with at least 50% female participants. You will complete individual, compulsory and international phases, supported by various training courses.

Your advantages as a trainee
Take advantage of comprehensive training, mentors, training courses and the targeted development of your leadership skills. The programme promotes teamwork, flexibility and innovative thinking in a dynamic environment.

Your application for the trainee programme

Work 38 hours per week on a flexible basis and enjoy 30 days of holiday plus special leave. Up to 50% mobile working per month is possible. Initial discussion with the team.
Check emails and structure the day.

Analyse a topic.

Prepare and review (Executive Board) documents/presentations.

Lunch
Lunch together in the ERGO FoodCourt, followed by a visit to our Café Central. Here we continue our discussions over a cup of cocoa or coffee.

1:30 p.m.
Joint meeting, which takes place twice a month.
Status update and discussion of important topics and/or new methods/processes.

3:00 p.m.
Planning further trainee phases (exchange, networking, coordination).
Follow-up and/or preparation of conferences and workshops.

4:30–5:00 p.m.
End of the working day
End of the working day, journey home, time for sport, friends and family.
