What to expect in our APAC/MEA region:

Prior to your start date, your local HR team will contact you, to provide you with the following:

  • Key details and useful information for your first day
  • Any forms we need you to complete or information we require

What to expect at our Europe and Latin America region:

Before your start date, your local HR team will get in touch with you to provide important information, including:

  • Details for your first day (time, location, people to meet, etc.)
  • Administrative documentation and forms to complete

After your first day, you will gain access to our Welcome to Munich Re Europe & Latin America Onboarding Portal, where you can explore more about your onboarding journey and get deeper insights into our organization.

The portal offers resources to help you settle in, connect with colleagues, and better understand our culture, values, and business.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact your HR representative — we’ll be happy to assist you.

What to expect at our Headquarter in Munich:

Before your first day, your local HR team will provide you with relevant documents that need to be completed and returned in advance:

  • Data protection consent form
  • Payroll questionnaire and supporting documentation
  • Employee headshot (used for your employee ID and the new joiner page)

Please also contact your manager ahead of time to confirm when and where to meet on your first day.

Important: Don’t forget to bring your private mobile phone to the office on day 1 — it is required for setting up your corporate authenticator.
