Application Process

Moving towards your future

Our application process is clear, fair, and as consistent as possible. We trust you understand that this underlying process may be slightly adjusted depending on your role, region and entry level.

A clear process

As we are a global company, there is nothing like a unified application process due to many differences in roles, regulations and regional requirements. During your application process, you'll be in touch with us along the following steps:

1. Apply online
Start your journey by submitting your application through our easy-to-use online application portal. You´ll be able to track the status of your application after creating an account and applying.
2. First interview
At this first stage, we'd like to learn more about you, your experience, motivations, and working style. We'll explore what drives you and what excites you about this opportunity. This conversation also gives you the chance to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the role and Munich Re. Our goal is to ensure there's a strong mutual fit.
3. Second interview
The second interview typically takes a more technical approach, featuring questions designed to assess your expertise and suitability for the role. The interview may involve a case study and structured interview questioning. You usually meet the team or potential colleagues you will be working with.
4. Optional additional interviews
If an additional interview is needed, it will likely include a senior manager and a member of our HR team. The focus will be on taking a broader look at the role and our company culture, to confirm whether Munich Re feels like the right fit for you. You'll also be encouraged to ask any remaining questions you may have.
5. Your offer
If both sides feel it's the right fit, we'll prepare your offer and look forward to welcoming you on board.
