Immerse yourself in the world of ERGO: gain valuable practical experience during an internship lasting at least three months, work independently on projects and make important contacts for your future career. Start your career with us!

Your start to the internship
Our inspiring ERGO Internship Programme offers deep insights into our business areas and supports you in building a strong network. Exchange ideas with other students at regular meetings and broaden your horizons.

What you should bring
We are looking for motivated students who want to expand their knowledge in a practical setting. Ideally, you have already successfully completed several semesters of your studies. Business administration, economics, finance, STEM subjects or law are particularly sought after. Plan to commit to three to six months.

Ideal additional skills
Have you already demonstrated your analytical and communication skills in other practical phases? Very good German and English skills round off your profile.

Working student position

Experience ERGO up close as a working student: work flexibly on exciting tasks for up to 20 hours per week, or up to 38 hours during lecture-free periods, while continuing your studies and gaining valuable insights.

What you should bring
Ideally, you are studying business administration, economics, law, mathematics, computer science or a related subject. Initial practical experience and good German and English skills round off your profile.

Legal traineeship

Sharpen your legal profile at ERGO. As a trainee lawyer, you will quickly become fully involved in our varied work. After successfully completing your traineeship, you will have excellent prospects of a permanent position and an exciting career.

Your entry opportunities
We offer positions for elective or legal internships in Düsseldorf and Cologne. Discover the tasks in the ERGO Group Legal department, including insurance, corporate and data protection law. A personal mentor will accompany you as you draft statements and contracts.

What you should bring
A successfully completed first state law examination and the motivation to familiarise yourself with legal issues. You are characterised by diligence, organisational skills and creativity, as well as your ability to work in a team and communicate in a legal environment.

Whether you prefer mobile working, working from home or being on site, you will benefit from opportunities that allow you to optimally combine your studies and career. Organise your work in terms of time, location and content according to your needs.

Mobile working

Work from home up to 50 percent of the time each month, in coordination with your company's needs. You will be provided with modern equipment such as a laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse and headset. At some locations: bicycle garages, lockers, showers and free charging stations for electric vehicles.

Food and drink

Enjoy a free lunch every week as well as free water and hot drinks every day. Modern canteens and café bars offer a wide range of food. At locations without a company canteen, you will receive meal vouchers.
