Operations & Portfolio Administration
The Operations & Portfolio Administration division handles the operational processing of our investments—from alternative assets and derivatives to securities and MEAG funds. This includes master data maintenance, transaction processing, settlement, posting, and central reporting and quality processes. In this way, we ensure that valuations, regulatory requirements, and capital measures are implemented correctly at all times and that the investment process runs smoothly.
Data Management
Data management ensures the availability, accuracy, and administration of critical financial data. It oversees the provision and integration of market and investment data and supports pricing models, risk assessments, and performance calculations. It also manages data contracts, licenses, and regulatory compliance, and maintains key data warehouse systems. By ensuring high-quality data and efficient processes, the team enables informed decision-making across the organization.
Reporting
The Reporting division creates transparent, high-quality investment, ESG, and regulatory reports for the entire Munich Re Group and institutional clients. It provides comprehensive data on all asset classes, delivers key ESG KPIs, and ensures that all legally required disclosures are made on time. MEAG Reporting thus supports informed decision-making, strengthens regulatory compliance, and ensures a consistent, reliable picture of investments.
