Creating spaces for everyone

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that advocate for inclusion in every form. They act as both spaces and resources for listening, championing, and belonging.

In various countries, our employees have established ERGs on strategically relevant topics such as women at Munich Re, pride, beyond generations, disabilities, working parents, veterans, experienced professionals, sustainability, innovative technology or global village.

Aiming for equitable opportunities

By the end of 2025, 40% of our global management positions will be held by women, across the entire Munich Re Group. To support this, our internal development programmes now have a 50% gender goal, acting as a springboard for more women to step into management positions.
