Supports the claims digital journey and strategy, integrating data analytics, reporting analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, throughout the entire claims lifecycle. Implements data-driven tools and business intelligence capabilities that align with business objectives and leverages the power of data as an asset to support business via trends and insights. Collaborates with claims leadership team and business partners to identify data-driven opportunities, establishes an operating framework with business functions, and champions a data-driven culture.

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
  • 4+ years’ of experience in data and analytics
  • 2+ years of experience in overseeing or directing work of others on a direct or indirect basis
  • Experience in insruance industry and Claims is a plus

Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of insurance industry concepts, including claims management
  • Knowledge of database concepts, data analytics, data visualization tools and machine learning concepts
  • Understanding of programming languages such as SQL
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and building a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align data analytics initiatives with strategic business objectives
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations, and industry best practices in data security and compliance
