The tower Business Solutions - Investment Management delivers value to the business area Group Investment Management through the execution of transformation projects, application development, management of IT products, and consulting for MEAG, GIM and LH6.We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Solution Architect Business Intelligence for ESG and Client Reporting to join our team in Munich. You will be responsible for executing a diverse range of plan-driven and agile projects as well as supporting run colleagues within the global reporting data warehouse system JUPITER related to Investment Management. Your Job

  • Design and implementation of ESG and Client Reporting solution architectures on the global reporting Datawarehouse based on SAP BW for Munich Re group, ERGO, MEAG and external customers.
  • Oversee and ensure consistency across several Business Intelligence projects
  • Balance out functional, service quality, performance, scalability, security & compliance and systems management requirements in a complex Business Intelligence environment characterized by having a frequent requirements pipeline
  • Support of the strategic direction of technology investments to support the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment in the context of BI and datawarehousing
  • Be a technical end-to-end project-lead including consulting, conception, prioritization and steering of development activities in line with KAIT considering the team´s capacity and timely as well as budgetary constraints
  • Communicate architecture objectives with your sound English and german skills and collaborate with IT but also with business stakeholders finding the right solutions with SAP BW or DataBricks and ensuring their end-to-end implementation
  • Supporting Munich Re's & MEAG business by maintaining the solution together with the team based on your extremely high technical expertise and by using new future technologies in close alignment with the Enterprise Architecture Team
  • Establishment and further development of an efficient run organization given the daily and monthly reporting process in cooperation with our partners

Your Profile

  • University degree, preferably in computer science, maths or comparable qualifications
  • Several years of experience in software development as an architect or similar roles, preferrable in SAP BW and DataBricks systems, combining the newly by SAP joint technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of the overall software development and product lifecycle processes in the area of data warehousing and reporting
  • Provable track record of implementing projects that deliver real business value
  • Very strong in-depth experience in technical development using well-known data integration, data warehousing, and reporting/dashboarding technologies in the SAP BW & HANA universe (BW7.5 or BW/4, HANA) and strong experience in DataBricks and SAC, DataSphere and SAP BO are a plus.
  • Solid knowledge in one or more areas: data management, database technologies and DWH/reporting solutions, as well as data quality management, data cataloging/master data management
  • Enthusiasm for technical problems and excitement for complex challenges and issues around data modeling and data flow implementation; knowledge of asset management (banking or insurance), ESG and KAIT/VAIT/BAIT is an advantage
  • Confident appearance; quick comprehension; structured approach; strong conceptual and development skills and the ability to solve complex issues
  • Strong ability to closely work in a team and self-reliant; consulting skills and strong willingness to take over responsibility
