Title: Remote Customer Service Licensed Agent

The target annual salary is $46,500 (22.35hr) + opportunitiy for annual company bonus

Location: Our current schedule offers a hybrid model, with 40-50% of worktime spent in our Amelia, Ohio office, while remote options can be discussed during the interview process for those over 60 minutes away.

Hours : The call center typically operates from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and you can expect to work a shift between these hours.

Purpose:

The Licensed Agent focuses on quoting, servicing, up-front Underwriting Analytics, and issuing policies for our Strategic Business accounts, agents, current and potential policyholders, and other interested parties. The role provides a sales avenue for generating premium. This role will have a firm grasp on all processes, products, and accounts.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming service and sales contacts for all lines of business via omni-channel contacts within Customer Service for policyholders, agents, lenders, and strategic accounts.
  • Handle sales and service contacts at the highest level of quality and efficiency while acting as the licensed producer agent for strategic account partner policyholders by explaining policy coverages and conditions while following departmental and compliance guidelines.
  • Quote new business based on AMIG and strategic account underwriting guidelines, overcome sales objections, and bind new business policies to generate premium.
  • Follow up on signed and dated applications and necessary forms required.
  • Track new quote opportunities and request project time for post-quote follow up.
  • Focus on specialized assignments or tasks when applicable.
  • Involvement in department initiatives and process improvement.
  • Act as an expert-agent, handling all roles and responsibilities of all contact types, including meeting all KPI expectations and delivering a personalized customer experience.
  • Completes expected continuing education requirements in order to maintain a compliant agent producer license in partnership with AMIG.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Well-versed with all computer applications for any functions needed, including but not limited to, servicing and quoting all products.
  • Proficient in utilizing knowledge-management tools and resources.
  • Understanding of products and systems used for servicing contacts.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills and business writing.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to determine optimal next steps for our customers.
  • Flexible and versatile in managing multi-channel contacts via different incoming lines through various platforms.
  • Installation and usage of required equipment, including hardwiring into a router via ethernet cord. 
  • Can meet expected internet speeds based on department requirements.

Education, Certifications & Designations:

Required:

High school diploma / GED

Currently holds an active P&C license in their residential state

Ability to be licensed in 48+ states within 6 months

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree or Actively Pursuing
