This role will be part of the Investment & Asset Management Tower for Group Technology, responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and maintenance of all investment and asset management systems, applications, and platforms. The Tower manages the seamless transition of new systems or projects to steady-state operations and takes ownership of key business relationships, providing accurate metrics on uptime, issues, and resolutions.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Product Manager for core investment management applications in the IT unit Business Solutions – Investment & Markets. As a Product Manager you will manage IT products that support one or more lines of business, including managing the demand process and consulting business colleagues to lead both tactical and strategic development. You’ll lead an agile team comprised of architects, business analysts, quality assurance and development resources, all focused on achieving the team’s goals.  In this role, you will own and manage the product lifecycle including functional releases and IT upgrades, to maintain compliance, performance and ‘fit for purpose’ business functionality. You will be responsible for the secure and stable ‘run’ of the product as well as for the product costs.

Your Job

  • Partner with IT and business colleagues to manage product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring that the product team delivers capabilities on time, on budget and per expectation
  • Ensure stable operations of products and compliance with security and regulatory requirements
  • Manage delivery processes including requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing
  • Initiate projects and implement change requests, plan and execute product releases, conduct sign-off procedures
  • Partner with executive and subject matter experts to identify key capabilities needed as well as potential risks and issues
  • Be responsible for the product costs and management of the involved external staff including procurement and provider management
  • Monitor and evaluate product compliance and performance to facilitate continuous improvement

Your Profile

  • University degree preferably in computer science, business administration, or similar qualification
  • 3+ years product management experience working in a regulated industry such as Financial Services
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a scaled/agile team, with team members in different global locations
  • Preferably, you are already ITIL and Scrum certified or have the readiness to pursue one with our support  
  • Customer focus
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Organization and prioritization 
  • Project management and leadership experience
  • Fluent spoken and written English, fluency in German is a plus
