Praktikum Daten-Analyse & Data-Warehouse (m/w/d)*
Das Team ist Teil der Abteilung Risk Intelligence and Knowledge Systems von Munich Re Life & Health, die als regionales Analysezentrum für Europa, Großbritannien und Lateinamerika fungiert. Die Abteilung ist verantwortlich für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Daten- und KI-Strategien, biometrische Erkenntnisse und Wissensmodellierung für mehr als 50 Märkte, über 500 Zedenten und mehr als 1.500 aktive Rückversicherungsverträge. Wir investieren strategisch in skalierbare, benutzerfreundliche Daten- und Wissenstechnologien, um hochwertige Produkte und Dienstleistungen unter Verwendung strukturierter und unstrukturierter Daten zu entwickeln und zu operationalisieren, die sowohl internen als auch externen Kunden zugutekommen. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass bessere Daten und fortschrittliche Analysen unser Kerngeschäft im Bereich Rückversicherung und Dienstleistungen stärken und die Grundlage für die Geschäftsmodelle von morgen bilden werden.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Daten Experten und Geschäftseinheiten, um unsere Datenstrategie umzusetzen und datengetriebene Geschäftsentscheidungen in der Rückversicherung zu ermöglichen
- Unterstützung der Erstellung und Erweiterung unseres Data-Warehouse zur Speicherung unserer rückversicherten Bestände, um ein vorlaufendes Monitoring zu ermöglichen
- Erlernen und selbständige Implementierung von ETL-Prozeduren, um die von unseren Zedenten übermittelten Daten aus dem Lebensrückversicherungsportfolio im zentralen Data-Warehouse zu speichern und die Daten zu harmonisieren
- Erlernen der Datenanalyse der eingehenden Datendateien („explorative Datenanalyse“) um ein Verständnis der Daten zu erlangen, sowie zur Visualisierung und Zusammenfassung der Informationen
- Verbessern unserer Datenqualität mit Hilfe von Analysen, der Implementierung von Validierungsregeln und Reports um Unregelmäßigkeiten und Ausreißer zu erkennen
- Erlernen der Datenschutz- und regulatorischen Rahmenbedingungen in der (Rück-)Versicherungsbranche.
Ihr Profil
- Studium der Informatik, Mathematik oder einer ähnlichen Fachrichtung
- Gute analytische und statistische Fähigkeiten in Verbindung mit ersten Erfahrungen in der Programmierung mit R oder Python oder die Bereitschaft, diese Tools zu erlernen
- Vorkenntnisse im Bereich von Datenbanken und SQL
- Erfahrung mit Microsoft-Office-Tools, Kenntnisse in PowerBI von Vorteil
- Hohe Motivation, gepaart mit der Fähigkeit, erste Verantwortung zu übernehmen und selbstständig zu arbeiten.
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Interesse an Lebens-(Rück)-Versicherung und der Einfluss von Daten auf unsere Prozesse
Angehörige von Staaten außerhalb des europäischen Wirtschaftsraums benötigen eine deutsche Aufenthalts-/Arbeitsgenehmigung.
