We're seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Property Field Adjuster. As a leading specialty insurance company, American Modern Insurance Group, Inc., a Munich Re company, offers a unique opportunity for recent college graduates to launch their careers in the insurance industry.

We're looking for a skilled and customer-centric individual to join our team as a Property Field Adjuster, where you'll manage property damage claims and conduct inspections throughout the Birmingham, Alabama area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Learn to handle property field claims from initial report to resolution, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis, and estimation development.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders throughout the claims process, with a focus on clear communication and attention to detail.
  • Conduct field-based inspections to assess damage and prepare detailed estimates and documentation to support insurance claims.
  • Participate in catastrophe duty as needed, which may involve travel throughout the United States for up to 4 weeks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, construction management, or a related field).
  • Strong decision-making, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with our company.
