Expert Group Accounting IFRS (m/f/x)

Your central role:

• Coordinate, prepare, and execute the consolidation measures for the annual and quarterly financial statements, as well as the forecasts and planning according to IFRS at the group level
• Provide support for national and international subsidiaries on content-related and procedural questions regarding the reporting package
• Ensure methodological expertise for IFRS, quality assurance of reporting data at the group level, and act as the responsible contact person for group auditors
• Take technical responsibility for central systems and tools within the closing processes, as well as continuously improve existing processes regarding security quality, and speed, and their documentation and assessment as part of the internal control system
• Lead and participate in relevant internal and cross-departmental projects, mergers & acquisitions, and post-merger integrations

Your profile:

• Successfully completed university degree in business administration with core area in external (consolidated) accounting, auditing, insurance, or a degree in (business) mathematics, along with several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable field
• Excellent knowledge of international and national (consolidated) accounting for insurance companies
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a high ability to analyze complex accounting issues and present them clearly in both verbal and graphical formats
• Excellent knowledge of SAP - especially SEM-BCS - and proficient in using standard office software
• High level of commitment and strong communication skills combined with a high sense of responsibility and an independent working style
