Actuary Reserving Claims/Accidents (m/f/x)

Your central role:

• Lead role in the actuarial assessment of technical provisions, particularly for use in financial statements according to IFRS 17 and Solvency II
• Manage the operational execution of the closing, forecasting, and planning processes with a focus on the actuarial process chain
• Analyze and comment on these reporting occasions and support the communication and explanation of results to relevant stakeholders
• Conduct regularly reserve and profitability analyses on specific portfolios and ensure appropriate communication to the recipients
• Support quality assurance and further development of the tools and systems used for IFRS 17 and Solvency II

Your profile:

• Completed degree in (business) mathematics, physics, computer science, or another quantitatively oriented field, along with actuarial training
• Ideally, several years of professional experience in the area of actuarial non-life claims reserving with expertise in IFRS 17 and/or Solvency II
• Experience with projects or in other relevant actuarial fields is advantageous
• Good knowledge of software packages such as ResQ, R, or SAS, and databases, along with a good understanding of technical and functional dependencies
• Strong analytical thinking skills, as well as communication and teamwork abilities, and an independent, structured, and responsible working style
• Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
