Principal Project Manager (m/f/x)

Your key role

• Responsibility for planning and managing IT projects or measures related to health topics at ERGO Insurance (DKV)
• Technical management of employees within the project for which you are responsible
• Responsibility for and management of order-related planning and implementation, as well as the regulated completion and documentation of the project with specific knowledge in the execution of technically complex integration projects
• Compliance with and implementation of test/QA specifications and documentation standards
• Responsibility for project reporting, preparation of decision-making documents, and organization/management of meetings with relevant committees and decision-makers

Your profile

• Completed (technical) university degree with a focus on insurance, organization, mathematics, economics, or computer science, or a comparable completed training program
• Good understanding of technical complexities involved in integrating modern technologies into a legacy world of large companies with a lot of direct customer contact
• Applied knowledge of project management methods and proven experience in the successful management of near-shore and off-shore/multi-site projects as well as complex IT projects
• Comprehensive knowledge of IT project management methods, procedures, and processes, IT planning, development, and testing methods, as well as planning, development, and testing tools, and mastery of presentation techniques and the associated tools
• A high degree of initiative, assertiveness, willingness to take responsibility, and ability to work in a team, combined with a willingness to travel and very good written and spoken English skills
