Assessing potential risks with technical expertise

Stuart works as a Loss Control Engineer for Munich Re Germany at our Munich office.

Engineers who join Munich Re usually have extensive professional experience in a variety of different disciplines. This is also the case with Stuart. Before joining Munich Re, the native Scot had already worked in the mining industry for twelve years. In Munich, he works in the claims department as a mining claims engineer. His extensive experience and technical knowledge help him in his position at Munich Re to identify and assess potential risks in construction and technology projects. To do this, he also travels to many mines around the world, for example to Asia, Australia or Africa.
