Business Analyst IT Demand (m/f/x)

Your Role

• Consulting the specialist departments regarding a contemporary, future-oriented, and cost-effective design of business processes and workflows using innovative technologies
• Proactive consulting of the specialist departments (including market observation) as a contact person for specialist requirements and the design/optimization of processes through IT comprehensive solutions
• Recording, analyzing, and describing needs, possibly including the creation of use cases/user stories
• Creating orders (solution-independent, specialist requirements of the specialist departments) and obtaining professional approvals
• Supporting the specialist department in creating business cases
• Coordination, evaluation, and prioritization of needs with the affected specialist departments and cross-functional staff units and portfolio management

Your profile

• Completed university or technical college degree with a focus on insurance, organization, mathematics, economics, business informatics, or computer science, or comparable completed training with several years of professional experience in one of the aforementioned areas
• Willingness to travel, including to the international units of ERGO.
  Good command of English, both spoken and written
  Strong communication and mediation skills in facilitating between different interface partners
• Knowledge of relevant business processes and workflows with a focus on SAP (e.g., FI/CO, PaPM, or FS-RI, etc.) is desirable
• Good knowledge in business and process analysis and requirements modeling.
• Proficient handling of contemporary control tools in the requirements and portfolio management environment (e.g., Atlassian Products, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex issues
• Strong team spirit and intercultural competence, as well as initiative, result orientation, and readiness to take responsibility
• Market knowledge of contemporary future technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, analytics, robotics, etc.)
• Prior knowledge in the area of insurance, especially IFRS, accounting, controlling, and/or ESG, is an advantage
