Campus Recruiter
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and agile Campus Recruiter, who is excited to become an integral part of the fast-paced North American campus recruitment team.
The Campus Team is responsible for driving and supporting our young talent strategy and initiatives, early in career talent acquisition, campus recruitment, employer branding, talent development, student evaluations as well as strengthening our employer brand within our partner network; across both Canada and the United States.
Your Role:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support full-cycle recruitment for North American roles, as it relates to Campus hiring (co-ops, internships, new graduates) in a high volume environment.
- Work with the business and HR community to grow and improve student engagement, development, assessment, and retention.
- Participate, plan and support campus branding and attraction initiatives, supporting a calendar of events that offers unique student experiences and highlights Munich Re as an employer of choice (examples include but are not limited to: Munich Re Experience, case competitions, conferences, recruitment events).
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration within campus programs including scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, submitting rank matching and other ad-hoc administration.
- Interacting with candidates, hiring leaders and career centers throughout the campus and experienced hire recruitment process.
- Seek opportunities to build on-campus presence through relationships with student groups and student referrals.
- Manage campus invoicing, event logistics and other recurring tasks within the campus team.
- Seeks opportunities to partner with external vendors and groups for student talent (recruitment platforms, scholarship programs, student associations).
Your Profile:
- We are looking for well-rounded individuals who are professional, have great communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external clients. You’ll be joining an energetic and goal-oriented team that uses a collaborative approach to working within all areas of the company, and focuses on achieving the greater commitments of Munich Re.
- 1-2 years of campus/administration/ sourcing/agency experience.
- Post-secondary education, with an emphasis in Human Resources.
- Prior experience with Application Tracking Systems / HRIS systems administration, SAP SuccessFactors an asset, though not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with an ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and technical abilities; experience with calendar management an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer focused and able to nurture positive customer relationships with strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proactive and willingness to learn.

Our base salary range for this role is between $65,455 and $75,790 per year, plus an opportunity for an annual company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to internal equity.
This role is located in our Toronto office on 390 Bay St, and we operate in a hybrid work model. This job posting is for a new vacancy.
