Client Manager

The Client Management team is responsible for strengthening our existing client and broker relationships and developing new opportunities in line with our Non-Life strategy for Australasia.
The team focusses on:

Your Role
- Developing an in-depth understanding of the Australasia markets and clients, building close and viable relationships with clients and our distribution partners
- Managing and monitoring all client activities through leading a client team, including drawing and executing on client action plans and client strategies
- Performing market segment- and client analysis to identify business development opportunities
- Leading renewal processes and negotiating terms and conditions with clients and brokers in close collaboration with client teams and senior management
- Supporting the Head of Client Management and Head of Non-Life in overarching projects and initiatives
- Preparing high-quality presentations (e.g. for client meetings, internal and strategy meetings and portfolio / treaty analyses)
- Facilitating value-add services leveraging Munich Re Group offerings
- Accountability to manage internal controls by performing measures effectively and economically
Your Profile
- Passion for building a career in client management within the reinsurance industry
- Strong insurance sales and distribution orientation
- Proactive and commercially minded approach with a clear outcome focus
- Early career experience in ANZ client management, Reinsurance Broking, or Property & Casualty Underwriting
- Collaborative team player with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Developed networking skills, driving collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Confident and engaging communication style with good negotiation and presentation skills
- Adaptable, pragmatic and eager to learn
- Outstanding analytical skills and ability to think conceptually and strategically
- Willingness to undertake business travel, as required
