Working Student Portfolio Management / Active FI - Macro (m|f|d)

MEAG is part of Munich Re Group and one of the world's foremost asset managers. To support our Active Fixed Income – Active team at our Munich office, we are seeking a Working Student (m|f|d) starting July 2026.

Shape the future with us:

• Develop and improve Python/R-based tools and Power BI dashboards to streamline internal processes and support investment decision-making
• Work closely with portfolio managers and the team lead, supporting them in day-to-day
  operations and ongoing projects
• Prepare qualitative and quantitative macroeconomic and capital market analyses to support portfolio and investment decisions
• Create professional presentation materials for internal meetings and management reviews

Your talents:

• Strong quantitative academic background in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics,
  or a related field (Master’s students preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Python/R, including time-series and statistical analysis (e.g.
  Pandas, NumPy, Statsmodels or similar)
• Good knowledge of data visualization and dashboarding tools, ideally Power BI
• Knowledge of Bloomberg (including Python integrations) is a plus, but not a requirement
• Strong interest in Asset Management, Fixed Income, and Macroeconomics
• Very good English skills; German proficiency is a plus
