Internship in Data and AI Strategy and Portfolio (m/f/d)*

Modern data analysis and artificial intelligence are key areas of focus for BT. The newly established Data and AI Strategy and Portfolio team acts as the primary point of contact for the business units to drive topics in this area from idea to successful value creation. The team works with all BT units to develop a holistic service offering and an aligned roadmap based on specific business requirements. This includes identifying and shaping business needs, defining implementation options and setting up projects or services for data analytics and AI.

Your Job

• Support in project work in the context of data analytics & AI implementation projects including requirements analysis, creation of concepts and prototypes, as well as participation in agile ceremonies
• Analysis of relevant pain points in the context of primary and reinsurance underwriting and claims management and ideation of potential solutions through the usage of generative AI
• Communication and coordination with technical contacts and internal departments in the project context
• Collaboration in cross-regional teams and with international partners

Your Profile

• You are enrolled in a higher semester of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, computer science or engineering
• Proven knowledge of generative AI and machine learning, in particular their application to the processing of complex and unstructured data
• Experience in data analysis and processing and respective tools
• Analytical and structured way of working, quick comprehension and willingness to take on responsibility and commitment
• Openness, creativity, proactive approach and enjoy working in an international, interdisciplinary team

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master’s degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
