Intern - Property Treaty Underwriting

Munich Re Greater China offers great opportunities for young talents to gain hands-on experience in a world-class reinsurance organization. You will expose to a wide range of projects, including reinsurance treaty underwriting, market research, advanced analytics projects, and new product development – working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and international environment.

YOUR ROLE

• Supporting Property Underwriters with data analysis and preparation work.
• Assisting in process improvement initiatives (e.g. automation).
• Maintaining and enhancing underwriting databases.
• Conducting market research to gain and develop market insights.
• Preparing reports and presentations for various business projects and purposes.
• Providing administrative and operational support to team members as needed.

YOUR PROFILE

• Undergraduate or postgraduate student, preferably majoring in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Insurance, Statistics or Mathematics.
• Strong programming skills in Python / VBA, Microsoft office (Excel and Power BI).
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Available to work 3-5 days per week for 4-6 months.
• Knowledge and Experience in database management is preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Strong team player with a positive and collaborative mindset.
