How up to date are the job ads on this website?
Our job ads are updated daily from Monday to Friday.
What type of application do you prefer?
We only accept digital applications via our application portal (MEAG GmbH). To apply, register on our application portal and upload your documents there. Unfortunately, we can´t accept postal applications.
When can I expect a reply to my application?
Once we receive your application, we will send you a confirmation by e-mail. We will check whether your knowledge and skills correspond with the job specification. We will try to process your application as quickly as possible.
Would it be helpful to call you before sending the application?
All candidates are free to call us if they have any queries, but in the interests of equal opportunities, calls have no influence on the application process and selection.
Can I apply for more than one job at the same time?
Applications for different jobs are welcome. Please submit a suitable application for each job you apply for, because the documents are always reviewed by the relevant department.
FAQs for working students
What should I bear in mind if I want to join MEAG as a working student?
We mainly offer jobs for working students at our Munich office. If you have any questions about joining us , please contact the person named in the job ad.
What formal criteria do I need to meet to get a job as a working student?
To join MEAG as a working student, you need to be enrolled at a university as a full-time student. If you are already employed with one or more companies, please bear in mind the possible implications regarding tax and social security. Different rules may apply to part-time students.
How many hours per week does a working student work?
Depending on the position you choose with us, as a working student you will generally work for around 15 to 20 hours per week, at flexible times based on the respective agreement. As a working student you are not permitted to work more than 20 hours per week during lecture periods. It is possible to move to full-time employment during lecture-free periods in consultation with the given department and depending on the volume of work.
How much is a working student paid?
Remuneration for your work will depend on your duties and the specified timeframe, and will correspond with the going local and industry rates based on duties and previous experience.
Can I also apply on-spec for a job as a working student?
Yes, you are welcome to apply on-spec, particularly if you would prefer a working student job in a specific area in which there are
Is an internship obligatory for working students?
No. An internship with MEAG is not a prerequisite for getting a job with us as a working student.
