International AI Portfolio Manager (m/f/x)

Your central role:

Group voice. Entity advocate. Portfolio owner.

• Own the relationship between assigned entities and the Group AI portfolio – you are accountable for how well that connection works
• Drive entity engagement with Group AI portfolio, hold entities to deployment commitments, and challenge Group when entity needs are not adequately reflected
• Build and maintain productive relationships with delivery partners across the ecosystem, ensuring commitments, quality standards, scalability of solutions and group goals are consistently met
• Identify strong AI use cases and tools emerging from entities and drive their scaling across portfolio
• Maintain a sharp view of AI portfolio health, adoption risk, and value realization – escalate firmly and early when things are at risk of moving off track

Your profile:

Technically grounded, globally fluent, and genuinely collaborative

• Bachelor’s degree required – ideally engineering/IT/business-focused
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-program portfolios in a global or matrixed organization, balancing central direction with local autonomy
• Technical affinity backed by hard skills: able to evaluate AI solutions, assess data and integration requirements, identify technical red flags, and engage credibly on architecture decisions
• Excellent English and German, interculturally aware. Additional languages a strong plus
• Strong governance instincts – comfortable holding the line on prioritization, escalation, and budget trade-offs
• Thrives in ambiguity and brings a positive, solutions-first attitude – this is a role for builders, not administrators
